Cathedral House Mardi Gras 2010

I got the great opportunity to photograph the sweet kids at Cathedral House last Fall for their Halloween festival and parade, and was fortunate enough to come back and capture their annual Mardi Gras parade last week. The kids had so much fun parading around in their masks and colorful hats. Then, in classic Mardi Gras fashion, the Kindergarten kids threw beads from the balcony. Here is a handful of my favorite images.

A Valentine Session

These three adorable siblings had a great time "playing" and getting their photos taken for their Valentine cards this year. They chose the top photo for their Valentine goodie bag cards.

A Photo Session at the Arboretum

Here are some recent photos from a session I did at the Houston Arboretum for a family of 4 (make that 5...counting their cute golden retriever, Ranger). It was a gorgeous day at the Arboretum. So gorgeous, that we had to dodge other Arboretum visitors quite often. But a few passers-by got into the action, and actually stood behind me and tried to get Ranger and the kids to look my way and smile. What fun! Here's the sweet Carroll family:

Valentine "Mini" Sessions

Valentine "Mini" sessions were a great way to kick off 2010! We had some very fun photo shoots. Many photos were shot on a white backdrop, which made for simple and cute Valentine card designs. I also offered some treat bags as part of this year's Valentine photo sessions. The treat bags came with candy hearts and had a "mini" valentine photo card attached. With that said, take a look at what we got!
