JR turns 1!

Happy Birthday little JR! You are such a cutie. It was great meeting JR and his mom & dad on Saturday. It was SO hot outside (at 6:00 pm!), but everyone rallied for a truly great session! Despite the Indian Summer heat, the lighting outside was reminiscent of an early Fall evening ... gorgeous colors! We found so many fun spots to take pictures, and JR just kept on smiling the whole time.

Abigail's Six Month Session

I absolutely LOVE six month sessions. It is so fun to see how much the babies have grown from their last newborn session. They are still very much "babies", but with adorable little smiles, laughs, and attempts at crawling! Although I also adore my 1-year sessions, there is something to be said for the "non-mobile" six-month olds! Once they turn one...they are off (whether it be on hands and knees, or in some cases on two feet), and you are chasing them all over the place. Abigail's newborn photos were posted back on May 6th. She is a doll (so happy and easygoing), and I cannot wait until our next session.

New Props!

I got some new props (the awesome vintage suitcases and the adorable apron)at one of my favorite antique stores in Gruene, Texas...and who better to pose for me, but my cousin's little cutie, Hallie. If you have a session coming up, and you like the props, please let me know and I'll bring them along!

Little Isabella

I photographed Isabella about two weeks ago. She was so teeny tiny, and so sweet. But I was amazed by how alert she was. I look forward to following Isabella throughout the year. Take a look on the blog around February for Isabella's 6 month pics!
